Foundation Push Piers
Foundation Push Piers are steel piers that are straight and attach to the home's foundation. These piers extend below the structure, down to supportive, strong soils.
Installing Foundation Push Piers requires portions of the foundation footing to be exposed and cut to accommodate a foundation bracket. The foundation brackets are tightly secured to the footing before the steel piers are driven to the depth indicated in the repair plan.
Once installed, the Foundation Push Piers will transfer the weight of the building to the stronger bedrock or soils below.
Foundation Helical Piers
Foundation Helical Piers are similar to Foundation Push Piers, however they have a spiral tipped, helical blade at the end.
Installing Foundation Helical Piers requires portions of the foundation footing to be exposed and cut to accommodate a foundation bracket. Once the brackets are installed, the foundation helical piers are driven to the depth indicated on the repair plan.
Once installed, the Foundation Helical Piers will work together to transfer the weight of the building to competent soil.
